Can you please point out where I said I dont like my car? Thats what I thought.

She got nobody, and is clearly ignorant in her comments.

Never said it was your problem, did I?
I was making a comment about the drastic change in performance that I had just experienced.
It wasnt meant to offend anybody, especially inmature, ignorant people like you.

I'm not a 17-19 second ricer, I am a 16 second girlie racer;) Get it straight.

My Focus is quite the sleeper...V8s don't know what hit em...and no, we don't use NITROUS..

Who cares?

You said we shouldn't have a racing section...why?

I was coming off the disapointment in performance difference, and was expecting to see technical information and other topics on a Mazda protege website, and wasnt expecting to see a racing section. I think this was fairly obvious to the rest of the readers who didnt freak out on me like you. Too bad you havent heard the pop yet.

Its ok to have a racing section, and I dont care. But after reading the garbage posted there(IMO), I will choose not to visit that area of the site.

In all fairness, I find most car web site sreet racing sections, no matter what the make and model, to be full of bullcrap and inmature posts.

i was just jokin
i really dont care bout this argument anymore

who says we just call it quits?

cause it is obviously going nowhere

newsflash...all 4 cylinder cars are sleepers..:)

ok, I think Ill leave now. This Mazda site shouldnt even have a "racing" section"......

I'd just like to keep quoting you..in case you forget what you said.

Wow, your really sharp! Aint getting nothing past you!

Did it ever occur to you that I am only here because I got an e-mail saying that somebody responded to the post, and when I saw that you attacked me, felt it right to defend myself?

Oh, wait, that would take brains, nevermind........

You obviously have some concerns regarding the (how did you put it?) PERFORMANCE DIFFERENCES between your old Mustang and your new Protege. Now it doesn't take BRAINS (do I have to get out my transcripts and test scores to prove my abilities?) to figure out that a Mustang and a Protege are completely different animals. Even a non-owner of these vehicles would come to the same conclusion. It's a fact that no one disputes!

If you meant your original comments to be positive, then I would have to apologize. Unfortunately, all you did in your original post was to belittle the Protege fans/drivers/racers/etc. and insinuate that we did not deserve to have a 'racing section'.

Perhaps you need to come to terms with your new ride....live it...love it...mod it...race it!:D

Hey Mach1, I'm not trying to start another conflict here, but what is your OPINION on the MSP? :)

Mach 1 January-17th-2003 01:29 PM

I can see how my comments possibly might have been taken the wrong way, but again, I didnt mean to offend anybody. Enough said

I like the MSP. I think it might be a little "under engineered", but that is typical of cars of its type.

The factory is just bolting on the same aftermarket parts available that most people would want, and putting it in a nice package for a reasonable price.

Cant complain about that.

However, I dont think any potential owners should think they are going to "rule the road" in a 170 HP car, just take it for what it is, and enjoy it for what it is.

shackmgr6073 January-17th-2003 02:56 PM

Does anybody else realize 20-25 acres of land is not enough for a 1/4 mile track. Unless it is a "strip of land" there is no way you can fit a 1/4 mile track onto 20-25 acres. Do the math. A "section" (square mile) is only 640 acres. HMMMMMMM...... I think Premdrumusr has quite the story telling ability. Just my opinion........ He is full of something
