Nice color! Can't wait to see it all finished up. Decide on the rims yet?

...So the MSP and P5/MP3 paint are indeed different? I always thought the MSP blue looked better....

guess who's home?

she finally made it home today. Needs a little more work. I ordered a CF TurboII hood that will need to be painted and my rear hatch is still gettying tinted and painted so those will coem a little later. The wax needs to be touched up some and a good detail will make it look like new. Overall I'm pretty happy.

as of right now the project is dead on the floor. I need to re-think my powertrain and I'm not sure what I'll be going with.... a 225whp highly modified $4500 NA carb 13b or a bone stock 220whp 3.2L Yamaha SHO V6 for about $1500.

The wife and I are going to hash this one out for a few days before I make any official comments.

For 4500 bucks you can put in a 13BT w/mods and get much more power than 225hp! You can almost find a 3 rotor for that price.. heh..

The paint is looking good man, but yeah those rims have got to go eventually.. hehe.. take it easy..

While SHO engines are nice, they don't belong in an RX-7!! Keep it rotary!

damn, you guys are sharp....

oh well. Yeah it'll be a built 3.2L Yamaha pushing a little custom WOMP boost. 10-12psi should be good for about 400-450whp with about 300-350tq. Can't do that on the rotary for the price.

I just picked up another SHO with the complete 3.2L / wiring harness / ecu etc. Total cost.... $0. I've also started working with a company in Washington about building the complete drop-in subframe and tranny cross member.

3.2L SHO + WCT5 (cobra transmission) + WOMP SC / 2300lb chasis = poop-in-your-pants fast.

s/c SHO > 13bt...ESPECIALLY in reliability

and tq. Should be a fun package when I get it all together. The only thing I'm dreding is the wiring harness extensions. I hate electrical but at least I know this car has no electrical gremlins like my FC did.
