That generation RX-7 has more curves than I thought they did. hmm, nice.
It almost resembles the late 80's model 300ZX

yeah, but when you turned it off it never started again! I've spent SO much trying to get this thing going... The carb system alone is going to cost me another grand....the exhaust is almost $825....paint is about $2700....interior will be almost $800...

I figure when all is said and done I'll have about $7K in the car and it'll be worth about $2500!

K-diddy has been slacking in scrumpet duties and is no longer prvey to the rights and priviladges pertaining with such an honor. Melyssa (isisangel) is now my main hooch on the net. You're allowed ride-along benefits if you pay the gas.....OR let me ride your scooter!

first sets of prep pics

first stages of primer before sanding.

Apparently this car had some damage to it and was repaired several years ago. hood was almost ALL bondo, as was the roof. the mirrors are being replaced and the tails have been molded into the rear for a cleaner look.

If you notice there is no more trunk lock, antenna and the tails have been molded in. In the engine bay the subframe will be re-painted black as will the steering rack. The wiring harness will be gone and I'll be re-wiring everything from the ground up to save space, weight and clutter. The engine will be rebuilt and painted black with polished housings. It shoulod match the polished Racing Beat exhaust nicely.

The rims are going to be nickle-plated andthen polished and wrapped in Falken R-compounds... 195-55-14's to be exact. It'll get brembo rotors and new pads from my shop. Suspension will be Tokico Blues with Tein S-techs and possibly the Racing Beat sways if money permits.

Power comes from the freshly rebuilt and streetported S5 1.3L NA engine with Holley 600cfm Carb system, Mallory ignition and Racing Beat exhaust.

178whp per litre isn't bad for an NA car is it?

Seems to be "lacking" in the engine compartment... glad to see some "actual progress" - - test drive(s) - deals gap?
