Lurch,

Wrong line! A proper rally driver would have cut across the grass sideways

Looks like fun! how was the car on the track? did you change the suspension? what tires?

Cool.

To be honest that must have frightened the sh*t out of you. Seems very close to going over.

I've had my car like that a few times at Buttonwillow. When you clip the apexes on the rumble strips you get a quick kick into the air. It's not too bad, a little unsettling under power but its normal.

Okay, you asked for it!

Actually, this one yielded my fastest time, but the pavement pushers didn't like it too much. Weenies.

No, its not going to tip over! Sheesh. Gimme a break! I just clipped the curbs on purpose to get a faster time! Don't you guys watch touring car racing?

I just went to the track for an autocross on a lark. I decided to go the night before, so I just loaded up my Silverstone tarmac rally tires and changed them in the paddock at the track. Total high ground clearance/gravel spec suspension. No anti-roll bars! It rolled over on its door handle, but it 4 wheel drifts VERY predictably on pavement.
