yeah, AWD launches are crap unless you clutch dump at high rpm's....I've beaten many a WRX who didn't have the clutch to handle a good launch!!

The tranny is a "Dog Box" it's supposed to sound like that because it doesn't have synchro's so he doesn't need to double clutch. But I could never get used to that sound.

without synchro's you WOULD double-clutch. At least that's how it is on older cars. The new Nissan Atessa tranny may be different though.

Yes ALL skylines are AWD unless you convert them to be just RWDs and that vid made me love skylines again b/c i started to hate them after 2fast 2furious that movie really killed the skyline.....

No not all skylines are AWD

i think its just the GTR and GTS4 that are awd

the rest like GTS and etc etc are just rwd

theres goes for r32s, r33s, and r34s

plus the way that the skyline tranny works, its kinda like a hybrid rwd/awd

cuz half the time it acts liek a rwd tranny, but then when the computer senses it needs the front tires, then it does the torque split and sends upto 50% of the torque to the front, thats why so many times you can see a skyline drifting liek a rwd car, instead of a awd car

If not all skylines are AWD then there are very few that arent b/c 99% that i have seen are AWD except the ones that have been made RWD...

actually my friend your are wrong
here my next post i will post all the models and details etc etc

just i'm doing it in my next post cuz its gonna take me a couple mins to write, actually i'll just edit this one and put it in here hehe

R32
2door
GTS = RB20DE / 156hp@6400rpm / 184Nm@5200rpm / RWD

GTS25 = RB25DE / 190hp@6400rpm / 231Nm@4800rpm / RWD

GTST = RB20DET / 215hp@6400rpm / 2634Nm@3200rpm / RWD

GTS4 = RB20DET / 215hp@6400rpm / 263Nm@3200rpm / 4WD

GTR = RB26det / 280hp@6800rpm / 368Nm@4400rpm / 4WD

4door
GXI = CA 1.8i / 91hp@5200rpm / Torque don't know / RWD

GTE = RB20E / 130hp@5600rpm / 172Nm@4400rpm / RWD

GTS = RB20DE / 156hp@6400rpm / 184Nm@5200rpm / RWD

GTS4 = RB20DET / 215hp@6400rpm / 263Nm@3200rpm / 4WD

okay for R33 and R34 i'm just gonna quickly list models then engine then drivetrain layout, cuz it takes too long to do everything else

R33
2door
GTS25t = RB25DET / RWD

GTS25 = RB25DE / RWD

GTS = RB20E / RWD

GTS-4 = RB25DE / 4WD

4 door
GTS25t = RB25DET / RWD

GTS25 = RB25DE / RWD

GTS = RB20E / RWD

GTS-4 = RB25DE / 4WD

now time for the R34

2 door
GTS = RB20DE / RWD (came in 4 door)

GTS = RB25DE / RWD

GTT = RB25DET / RWD (came in 4 door)

GTS4 = RB25DE / 4WD (came in 4 door)

GTR = RB26det / 4WD

So as you can actually see, most skylines are actually RWD

its just that when someone talks about a "Skyline" they are talking about a GTR
but in reality there are many more models of Skyline than just a GTR, like **** theres a model of the R32 that has less than 100hp

there are many more models than just the GTR, and many of them are just RWD

Just because you've only seen AWD ones doesnt mean all of them are AWD. Do a *little* research before you go and state a fact that turns out to not be a fact and make yourself look like an ***. Take this from me, cause I do it all the time

its just cuz alot of people cover the AWD versions more.....

like who wants to cover the model thats less than 100hp.... liek its a skyline nontheless, but noone wants to cover them..... liek our proteges will beat them, they are so heavy and less than 100hp..... and imagine the drivetrain loss if they were AWD.

and even the RWD versions, not many people cover them, cuz its the GTR that everyone wants to cover... the almighty "GTR"

you don't see much on the SKYLINE "GTS" which is RWD.... and under 200hp.....

just take note on the model of skylien that you are seeing, and you will notice that most of the ones you see are the GTR
