Looks good...why did you paint it?

THEGOLDPRO February-20th-2005 02:39 PM

cause i like the sleeper look, and the intercooler is black stock, so i just repainted it black.

ghettopro February-20th-2005 02:55 PM

oh, thats what i thought you did it for Mr. Sleeper....i should have known..SO have you found a stock looking exhuast that is for performance yet?

jster28 February-20th-2005 06:11 PM

looking good. What are you using to control the fuel and preventing the MAF from freaking out from the boost? How much are you boosting. I'm in the process of getting my turbo in, but debating on a haltech ecm to control that stuff.

hughes412 February-20th-2005 07:53 PM

Were did you get the rotors?

kargoboy February-21st-2005 09:43 AM

So nice. If you really wanna play out the sleeper thing, start wearing a gray wig and granny glasses when you drive around and bust the tires loose on ricer-boys at traffic lights.
They'll pee their pants, lol.

its not the MAF that has a problem with the boost, its the MAP sensor, when it see's boost it freaks out, and falls right on its face, i used 2 check valves to trick it, ill take pics of it for you.

im only uning an adjustable, rising rate fmu now for fuel, but since the new setup, its running alittle rough, im gonna buy an apexi afc, and see if i cant make it work.

right now im boosting like 11-12 psi, and its strong as shit, cant stop the tires from spinning, if i had to guess im 100% sure im over 200whp right now.

THEGOLDPRO February-21st-2005 11:08 AM

oh and i got the rotors from ebay, they are brembo's.

yeah, pics of the 2 check value would be great. I've heard that apexi afc, doesn't work becuz the mazda ecu overrides it. I believe you well over 200whp  , Juan at hi boost is putting about 300whp on the 1.6 at 15psi. You using a T25 turbo right? I have one from an old saab/ its a k-26 turbo. know anything about that one. Did you make you own manifold or bought it, I'm working and some equal length tublar ones, but it not coming out so great.

THEGOLDPRO February-22nd-2005 10:43 AM

yeah i dunno bout the whole apexi thing not working, i dont really believe people too much, they are retards, im gonna try it for myself, and see, ill snap pics of the check valves for you when i get a chance, i bougt my mani from wagner, good prodect, i like it alot, and yeah i know nothing bout a saab turbo, sorry :)

mazdaspeedpower February-22nd-2005 10:19 PM

wow. Looking good, and sounds like a fucking great ride man..bustin loose all the time, say good bye rubbber man. With some really good sticky rubber you'll be grabbin better, but the stickier tires wear faster...gotta try and find a good balance. I love the sleeper look BTW, people are prolly all "Pfft, lok at that dude in that little pro, I'll Pwn him hardcore" Squeel, screech, psst, screech, pssst, screech, psst...:D"Damn, guess I just got owned..."lol.

THEGOLDPRO February-23rd-2005 03:28 PM
