Newbies 3rd gen pics!

Hey every one, here are some pics of my 3rd gen LX Pro....of course a work in progress...aren't they always? Let me know what you think. There is more to come eventually. My next addition hopefully is a BC2 body kit and rims. The exaust is custom, I don't like the huge outlets or "fart cans" as they are commonly known where I'm from. I hate that riced honda sound. So I opted for a custom bent 2.5 inch cat back exhaust with a glass pack and 3 inch outlet. It looks clean and sounds deep...very nice tone. not many other mods, besides obviously the tailights, which I painted myself. Most of you will probably notice the spoiler isn't the typical protege spoiler, but It is the look im going for, not too over the top.

when you add the new front and rear bumpers make sure to have the tailights molded in at the same time...really complete that custom look for you.

any plans for power/handling?

That is a good idea with the tail lights...thanx. For power and handling, I plan on in the future eventually doing some engine mods for more power, but for now I am gonna work on the aesthetics. I want to make it look good and when I can afford it I will start dumping some money into the engine. I figure by the time I can afford to build up my engine I won't owe as much on the car or even have it payed off and I will feel better about messing with it ya know. The plans I have for it could get spendy and I just can't afford it at the moment because I am going to school and only working part time! For handling, I plan to lower it with Eibach components either before the body kit or very shortly after. I figure with 1 to 1.5 inches lowering I will get the look I'm after and the awesome handling that comes with it.

im not a fan of the tails personaly. but hey they are unique! kudo's for that.

the rest is nice. maybe paint your rims to get a little more colour going on? or you gonna stick with the all white look?

Personally I am not a big fan of the stock protege tails. They are way too huge. they make it look like a grandma car, or like a cheap *** Kia or something. I had to do something to make them look smaller. As for the rims I would like to get some black or even what they call hyper black ones. I think they would look hot on my car, especially if I get a carbon fiber hood in the distant future.

I hate Euro/Altezzas, but I do like what you've done with yours...

Im the same way. I hate the big chromed out altezzas, but there is one idea I have recently had. I have thought about buying some of the Euro like taillights that have the black backing and painting it white so that it matches my paint and only the circles stand out.? Any thoughts on that? I think it would look good and unique most importantly. Also it would do away with the bubbly look of the stock tails on our beloved 2nd and 3rd Gens!
