Y? 323 n/a can't hit 14's? damn that sucks if it wont.... here's my plan....mild camshaft (12-14 hp), cam gears ( so i could tune the shaft), stage 2 clutch, LSD, engine mounts (polyurethane), head work (3 or 5 angle valve job, por n polish), UR crank pulley, lighten up the car alil bit ( racing seats, new rims) street drag tires. u think its possible??? damn i hope so cuz **** thats hella bank! on a civic hatch just remove the passenger sit u got 14's.

well my advice dude, if you dont mind me putting some input in.... instead of going that route with the current engine (b6 i think.... 1.6liter SOHC or DOHC) id either upgrade to a B6-T (1.6 DOHC turbo engine) or a BP-T or KLZE.....
then youll be a performance beast
i like my se-r though, i liked how you had b14 se-r wheels on your 323 for a while... do you still have them? id buy them from you.

i never really thought of getting a turbo not even on my civic then but can u give me more info about the mazda turbo engine that ur saying. isn't there a bp-t engine in US? how much and how about the harness and ecu how much do i need to spend on that!
about the rims i sold it long time ago for $100 w/ 90% kuhmo tires.

The BP-T is the same motor you already have w/o the turbo on it. you could talk to Braden at http://www.barelylegaltransplants.com/ he could get you the BP-T ECU and the Turbo manifold. You'd be better off keeping your BP then buying a BP-T (1300 i think w/ ECU). The head on the N/A motor is more free flowing or something, i don't remember, but there were gains w/ the N/A head over the Turbo head.
One thing you'd need to do is either get the lx tranny or not drive hard on the tranny you've got (did you get the LX tranny yet?)

well to be blunt I hate hondas. Theres way to damn many of them you just dont see anything original about them anymore. However that was a really nice civic.you did a real good job working on it.If you are going to invest the time and money in to a 323 You should go with a bp-t if you are willing to wait go with a post 90 323 gt-r bpt 210 hp to start but they are hard to find imported from japan but well worth th wait.put some work in to that and you will just fly like a ****.Try http://www.corksport.com/
They can get the Gt-R Bp-T for like 1875+shipping not to bad. Go from there and you will have a kick *** 323 in no time...

www.car-part.com or actually go online and go to that site .. look for the ac compressor ( not much ) and the if you already have the controls you are set... and imagine you can get this out of a 91-94 protege ... and you know how many of those are laying around in yards....
I should have my 323 next weekend .... I am going to look at it tomorrow ... and the girl selling it to lol

you can just get the manifold and the turbo ... from corksport , they can locate one for you easy ... also you can pull your motor down and rebuild it , you can install a thicker (lower compression) metal gasket or a thinner for higher effects...
I think the 323 may be all motor whenever I feal like changing the motor
but for now it is the back and forth car .... gets great gas mileage , a new timing belt water pump and all ...... and gas
