The one with the Jetta is a fine example of how not to retrofit HIDs into a halogen housing.

How often does that dude get pulled over for that?

 

his lights arent that bad. they're just really bright.... and really blue.
and he's had them for just over a month now, and he hasnt been booked yet.
the cops around here dont give a **** about underglow, or headlights, or anything related to car neons and ****. its farking awesome!!

 

but horrible for drivers who get blinded by that!

At the angle the camera is in relation to the car, those shouldn't look any brighter than properly aimed halogens.

glare = making other drivers temporarily blind. you gotta be careful with that stuff.

ya kansie. if im in front of him, i have to tilt all my mirrors away from me.
he really needs projectors.... mine lights have the nice cut-off, so only midgets and children get blinded.
his jetta on the other hand....everyone gets blinded. lmao

I sorta signed up for it.. but I can't go. I have a project meeting for one of my classes on Sunday that'll last 5 or 6 hours.

Plus there's a NEPOC meet Saturday in Boston.. so I'll be in Connecticut Friday, Boston Saturday, and back to Rochester on Sunday to make it to that meeting.

I haven't been to a NEPOC meet since sometime around April or May, so I gotta make it to this.. last meet of the year (there aren't many meets in a year.. like 2 lol)
