Its a cubby hole from a 2000 protege, it opens up and can u can put like 4 or 5 cds in there. This pic was at a litle meet we had here in Toronto.

I think the cubby hole is installed upside down! I have the same door on my 99 LX and the little bump in the center is lower down. Which way does your door swing open? Mine swings up. Also, the 00 models had a slightly different swing open door than the 99s.

My cubby door swings down. I was thinking of putting it in the other way around (door swinging up) but than i wouldnt be able to see what is in the cubby cuz the door would be in the way. I dont really care if it upside down or not, i just liked it better this way.

Nice car man..I like the blue as well..it was my 2nd choice to red...
your deck install looks clean as well..i saw a the dark blue p5 drive by today and they had the lower rear valance painted greay ..looked nice too i must say..
