jking, how can you not be into body kits & own the Pro5!! The Protege5's body kits are what make the car look so good. If Mazda hadnt added these body kits, it would look like any other hatchback (not exactly like ANY other hatch but it wouldnt look nearly as good).

True Dat, True Dat

yeah, the body kit on the 5 is what sets us apart from other hatch's. but i think i know what you mean. sometimes it takes away from the car. but not ours!

hey, we got new smiles! coolness.

Maybe I should rephrase the way I said it. I'm not into aftermarket body kits. At least most of them. Mainly the ricey ones which are about 90% of bodykits availible. The protege5 has a very nice ground effects kit. I love the front lip. It kind of reminds of of the Impreza 2.5 RS

Nah, just my car....

but in defense, the kit was made especially for this car from the demand of some type of kit to be made. Once it's painted and completed, it'll look like it belongs, trust me.

I admit it looks ricey now, especially since it's not painted, but it's only for a short time and i'd much rather have it all complete before i paint......

new fogs

Hey maybe you could get some big P5 Foglights to put in those air scoop holes. That could be cool.

the reason why the lights are where they are is becasue of just that, i need the air to flow thru those mouths, well atleast the driver side anyway...besides, the ones i put in are 4" round, big enough for me.

Hey Darryl, as a fellow 1gen owner it all ready looks better, painting it is just going to make it even better. There is a evo running around my small town. haven been able to talk to him. But that was the first time i seen it. And ever since then i have wanted one. But i got to get some other stuff before then. also nice job on taking pics of the install on your site.

Thanks!
the only downfall is the fact you have to remove the crash brace.....and get creative on the install.

Very nice, you get two thumbs up in my book. If I had more thumbs I'd give them to you. I love that EVO kit, even though I'm not into too many body kits.
