3D render of pro5
3D render of pro5
Hey folks. Just thought you may want to see what I have been doing for this semesters class. This is my rough draft of a 3d model of a pro 5.
It was done using 3d studio max, maya, and zmodeler. Obviously there are some things missing, like tires, but I will get those completed as I get more familiar with the programs(I have only been using them for a month).
If you could, please give me some constructive criticism on how the proportions look in regards to window sizes and spacing and what not. And please, don't flame the hell out of me, just help me out so I can make this better. My final idea is to be able to export this thing into a common application so people will be able to add body kits and what not to get a real idea of how the car would look with mods on it, instead of "guessing" with 2d chop jobs. Thanks fellas.

thanks for the comments. It yellow cause my car is. But to make people happy, once I am completed and put it out for the public, I will skin it in every color that Mazda produces so you can have your pic of what you want. Fair Enough??
Looks pretty good.
W/o the wheels on it.. it looks a little long.. but I'm not quite sure =). Could be the fov playing tricks (like PR pictures).
Are you going to separate the doors, hood, trunk, bumper, kit into separate geometries later on? That way you can have the lines.
The only other part I think might be slightly off is the piece between the driverside window and the windshield. That pillar looks a little thin at the top.
