Thats sick where did u get it? custom?

Ambient February-10th-2003 09:03 PM

I'm not feeling it, doesn't go with the car at all.

Maybe I just need to see it in person :)

I actually designed it and producing 6 a day. They are available to the puplic. the picture does not do it justice. I'll post other pictures tomorrow. The reaction at shows has been incredible. There is a feature that does not come out on pictures, there is a sort of flat spot in front of the grille that matches the shape of the radiator cooling grille on the bumper.

Slp, what wheels are those, ans what size and offset are those? Are those the Excel wheels. I am looking for wheels like yours let em kow any info you got on em.

MyLowPro5 February-10th-2003 10:30 PM

can we get a carbon fiber hood like that next..:)

Installshield February-10th-2003 10:32 PM

How much????

SLP Tuner February-11th-2003 12:30 AM

I'll have to find out what brand the wheels were, but i remember the offset was stock, 18" along with eibach springs. The total ride is awesome. As for prices;
MSRP prices are

SLP Tuner Hood lift off hood requires 4 hood pins (non-functional) $197.15
SLP Tuner Hinge mount requires 2 front hood pins (non-functional) $262.51
SLP Powerproduct gel coat (functional) $ 659.55 US
SLP Powerproduct primed (functional) $ 854.49 US

Until we develop a safe way to use carbon fiber we wont be offering it. Carbon fiber hoods are 30-50 times more rigid than a stock hood. In the event of an accident they wedge into the passeger compartment. Not a pleasant taught. The hood is designed to crumple in the event of an accident.

Nice looking hood.

Is this SLP, as in Street Legal Performance? If so, when did SLP start making import parts? If not, it's bad enough to use a name that's already established in the aftermarket industry. . . then to use their logo, too?!SLP Engineering

SLP Tuner February-11th-2003 01:28 AM

SLP Engineering works on OE programs. SLP PowerProducts is a sister company. It is the same company that built over 50 000 hoods for camaro SS and firehawks.

It's very cool looking, but I'd like to see a couple more angles of it. That odd sideways-upside-down angle can be tricky.
