Do you guys think that it will work? hmm... that ECU is tempting me. but is $100 too much for that?.. oh and by the way... when i was painting my interior on my 94' Pro, I took the plastic Thingy (dun know the name of it) where the radio and the A/C controllers go and the other "thingy" where the cupholder is, I was looking for the ECU but i didnt find it and I've heard that they're under the carpet and behind the radio or something like that, but i did not find it. where exactly is it??

Most likely its under the passengers feet. Right under the carpet

The ECU is mounted on the floor behind the center cansole.

although i cant see the page, therefore i cant see what the ecu offered, running an auto ecu in standard can be done quite easily. I swapped from auto to 5speed and just jumped the park neutral safety switch to get it to work. Since this switch is non-exhistant in a 5speed to begin with you may have to do nothing and the ecu would work fine. Ive even heard (dont kill me if this is wrong) that in some cars (mustangs in this instance) the auto ecu will produce slightly more power from the engine than the 5speed ecu since the factory settings are trying to compensate for the auto tranny's slowness.

I believe that the link is as so, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2415760626

i was wondering what that damn thing was when i was installing my radio and took apart my console, looked like a hard drive an as so, it is essentially, the brain of the car. so spend the 50 bucks and see if it works, right? i personally couldn't see some redneck selling me a reprogrammed ecu for 50 bucks, i'd actually rather work with a venom chip over that thing, even with a $400 plus difference in price, it's not something i'd want to **** with.
peace
anybody for 20+ hp stickers?

That doesn't look a thing like my ECU. The connectors sure don't look right either. What the heck?
