So if anyone is wanting to get one of those 4 (whether it be with Splash Guard, Bypass valve, neither, or both) and want them shipped now, PM me. Now.....Injen just discontinued their Reds & Blues (meaning they wont be available any more) so, I may be able to get a good price on more of these. I know most of you seem to be wanting the Polished but...the Colored may work out to be cheaper. If this is something people may be interested instead of the Polished, let me know. MP3...if you want, I can take over the buy if this works out. I know its hard for you to do all of this. If its not an interest, we wont worry about it & ya'll can go with what you've already worked up and I'll stay out of it. I guess I was really the one that made it confusing in the first place :-) Hey.....if ya'll work up the buy for the Intakes from someone else, maybe I can come in & work up a buy for the Bypass valves (or worthless Splash Guards which I seem to sell so well!!) I do highly suggest one or the other on a CAI. Insurance piece you can consider it.

if we go with mitch, i get dibs on the polished intake with bypass valve. i'd rather add a bypass valve for the freak flash floods here than have to disassemble the cold air section of the intake every summer. if the polished is gone, then i'll take the red... then the blue. but i want the one with a bypass, dammit! just kidding. let me know. there's a gem show in town so i need to know if i should save these $240 in my account or not.

dont waste your money on crappy jewelry for your woman dammit!! just kidding, but not really. ok, i have pm'd mitch asking him if he can do 13 instead of 14, once again i can eat one and sell it if need be. I have informed him of the bypass situation, there are 3 of us who want them. i think we might be able to do a little switch and swap to get both of us polished with the bypass. i REALLY hope to have this done by tonight. at this point i just really want an intake, and i dont even really care about deals anymore. I just dont want to spend more than i have to. the thing thats nice about mitch is that you guys can deal with him individually once we order. that means that i dont have to collect your money. you can even just paypal it along to him.
alright lets get this ball rolling, i think it got stuck in Mach 1's *******

yeah, mach1 is a funny guy.
my friend's dad owns a shop in town. he said around these parts, it's better to have a bypass than to have your intake hang so low with no protection. seriously, around here, one minute, it's as dry as the desert it is... the next... BOOM! floods. and there are certain streets where you can't cross even with a 4x4 because it's so damn deep. it's one of those things where i would rather spend the $50 on insurance than risk losing my engine because i got caught in a downpour. plus, i'll only be putting it on in the summer, so no worries.
people say it's a waste of money because the bypass valve negates the gains from the intake. well, i say BLAH! if air is being drawn into the TB from the foamy bypass valve, GREAT! it's waaay up in the engine bay and hydrolocking is not as great a threat unless i get stuck on one of those roads where the waters are up to my roof. then i guess i'm SOL. so there.
unless mach1 can come up with some solid proof that the bypass valve doesn't work (i saw it work in real life when i went to one of those car show things), then i recant. until then, his logic is illogical.

is it too late for me to just go to mitch? i'd rather get everything together, soon... rather than wait for everyone to send you the money, then you send the guys at ptuning the money, then wait for my intake. i don't think i'll be able to handle all that waiting!
mach1,
why don't you think the bypass valve won't work? i can understand why the shield won't work, but can you explain to me why the bypass valve won't work? maybe then, you can take a ****.

my black mp5:
the deal is with ptuning.
they do not offer the colors. however mitch does, but he wants to sell them with a splash guard or bypass, so it will run you 252 from him, whereas its 190 from ptuning, and a can of spray paint is anoth 5$
tonka, if you really want to go with mitch you can, however, we are getting the price of 190 from ptuning, and then mitch told me 47 for the bypass, so, you are still saving money this way. it should only take about a week and a half to get these through.
