Agreed. When ever you can get the info just get back :) its all good |
Any updates? If your insurance co. does decide to total it, i'm interested in the steering wheel.
Uh, are you sure you understand that if they total the car - you don't keep the carcass. You have to 'buy it back' and then part it out...
(If i am wrong (and i hope i am - cuz i want the ECU!!) please let me know! ;)) |
you are right and i do plan on buying it back from the insurance comp. if it is totalled giving the price on buying it back that is, and gutting it completely.
So still no word on whether its actually totaled or not!?!? Its taking a while!
what the word on the car, I want wiring harness for the power windows and the power window switch surroundings.
guys sorry for the VERY F**KING LONG delay. I got word that my car is totalled however, for the girl that hit me, she has a maximum liability of $7500 my car is worth well over that. so now i have to go through my insurance company and start the process all over again. I am so sorry for the delay i hope they price my car at a good price so i can part it out. if not i will just have to try something else. Once again i am sorry for the delay of USAA INSURANCE COMP. **NOTE - if you get hit by someone carrying this insurance i recommend filing the claim through your insurance comp b/c they take FOREVER**
Sorry to hear it, hope it all works out for you in the end!
You need to get an Lawyer. USAA should cover all no matter what her limits are. How do you think people get millions out of wrecks. Im not saying go sew happy but get what your owed!

He would have to sue her for the remainder, as the driver at fault is responsible for ALL the damages. It's easier for him to just make the claim with his own insurance company and let them sue her.
You obviously haven’t sewed an insurance company! An old lady hit my friend and totaled his truck and boat. After the lawsuit he got enough to put a good down payment on new ones. The check was from the company not her. |
