is that strut bar for cruise or without cruise? is it the oem mazda strut bar? im interested if so

OEM, MP3's dont have cruise so neither does this bar.

This is the bar only no brackets, it does not mount directly at the 4 nuts on the top of the shock tower, it mounts to the sides of the shock tower.

It includes no hardware.

Dave, sorry to steal your thread, but i will answer this one for you. It will work on a cruise control car or a non-cruise control, you just have to specify to mazda which one you have so they will send you the correct brackets. This is just the bar he is selling, and then you will need to order the brackets. If anyone buys this and has a cruise control car, if they want, they can just order the regular brackets and i will send them the cruise control parts, for free, just pay shipping, b/c Mazda accidently sent me the cruise control parts with mine. So hope this helps you sell it Dave.

Gesh dave post this on clubprotege.com, I cant belive this isnt sold yet. How much are the brackets from mazda and will this work on a 001.6 liter pro?

This will work on a 1.6 liter Protege, but only with some spacers due to the intake manifold being higher up then in the 1.8 and 2.0's engine. No idea what the brackets will cost but I am not supplying any since who knows if it'll end up on a car with cruise control or not, 2 different part numbers.. I think the brackets couldn't possibly run more then $20.
