In the DC/Northern VA/MD area -

I have a spare brand new, shiny and unused strut tower brace for sale. I expect it will fit many Proteges, except 95-96 (which have 3 bolt struts). This is an aftermarket brace.

- stainless steel rod (round tubular, less than an inch thick)
- powder coated or painted dark blue or black (forget which) brackets
- adjustable (length - has threaded ends and sockets on brackets)
- 4 bolt holes on the brackets (hence didn't fit my 95 DX, which needed the 3-hole design!)
- Paid just under $50 including shipping on ebay

Seller will take it back, because he misrepresented it as a 90-98 strut tower brace (but it will not fit 95/96 and perhaps not even 97/98) - but refuses to refund shipping!

So I'd like to try and sell it locally - make me a decent (preferably local, pick-up) offer. If you need me to ship it, I can, but you'd pay actual shipping (I would imagine around $10-12 - that's what shipping on the second one I bought, which fits my car, cost). I already have a box (that it came in).

I figured the 4-hole design was for the 1st gen, didn't want to post misleading info until I was sure!

If it didn't fit 95-96, then it will not fit 97-98 either. I have a 97, and I have 3-blot pattern as well. So i guess you are selling a 1st gen strut bar.
