I'm not a computer guy, nor do I consider myself one, but I just thought it would be interesting of people do post the specs of their PCs as many people on PC forums post their PC specs like their car ones(if they have one). Here are mine.
Athlon Thunderbird 1.33Ghz ECS Motherboard 256DDR Ram Quantum 20Ghz 7200rpm HD Hitachi 8xDVD, 32xCD VideoExcel GeForce2 MX400 oced to 240Mhz clock, 185Mhz memory Sound Blaster Live Value Mid sized case with 300W power supply and upgraded cooling (runs at a low 30C but whisper quiet) Samsung SyncMaster 955DF monitor- 19inch Monsoon 505 Flat Panel Speakers Aopen keyboard Microsoft WheelMouse Optical Maxell Web Cam Epson Stylus C60 printer Nothing spectacular today, but was mad fast then, and still is. Serves me well for my browsing, DVD viewing, MP3 blasting, and Counter Strike needs. And I love it. |

wow looks like I have the clunker of the bunch, here are my PC's spec:
Main Unit: AMD K6-2 400Mhz Soyo 5EHM M/B 256MB Micron PC133 SDRAM, running at only 100Mhz though :rolleyes: AOpen PA740 AGP video card Sound Blaster 16 Netgear 10/100 ethernet card 52x AOpen CD-ROM 16x12x40 CyberDrive CD-RW Removable hard drive rack (I have 3 separate OSs running on separate hard drives, I pop in the hard drive with the OS I want to use whenever I feel like it :)) fugly old looking AT case w/ newly replaced 250W power supply I/O peripherals: Compaq MV940 19 in. monitor JBL speakers (came with monitor) UMAX 2100U scanner MS Intellimouse Pro Lexmark 1000 printer Aopen 56k external modem (barely use it now that I have DSL) even though the system looks slow spec-wise, it's actually very fast, very little hard disk thrashing (all thanks to the 256mb ram ;)) can't you tell I like PCs? :D |

Western Digital WD1000BB 100 GB 7200 RPM IDE hard drive Sony SDX 300C tape backup (70 GB compressed capacity per tape) GeForce2 MX 32 MB AGP video Standard SoundBlaster compatible sound card Zip 100 drive Standard CD-ROM drive Standard 3.5 floppy 4 case fans CoolerMaster CPU heatsinks & fans System running Windows 2000 Server (although Linux is cooler) This system is just a little bit fast :p Comin' right atcha with 2.4 GHz Athlon equivalent, 1.2 GHz PC2100 memory, SCSI RAID 0+1 ass burning speed-- Oh yeahhh... :wackit: |
