I've got the original version of the US movie on dvd and vhs (digitally remastered).

 

Matt, I got the movie also, but the japanese series were extremely good and creative.... Such as: the robots were actually people who could morph (for the lack of better word) with the car to become transformers with the help of special bracelets.... Anyone seen series like that?
