My first car was an Opel, it was such a pos that the door were screwed shut, I bought it to scare the crap out of my dad so that he would give me his three year old Audi (it worked).

First car- in 1987, got a '64 Chevy Impala 4-door for $250. Deluxe for it's day, 327 V-8, two-speed powerglide trans, A/C. Added tires, shocks, tune-up items, rear brakes, basic maintenance for 2 years, for only an additional $350. Ran the hell out of it, 2 full years, only $600 total. Not bad. Was LITERALLY an old lady's car which was driven to the store and church, and ONE fifty mile trip to the state fair in it's prior life. I figured the engine was probably sludged up when I got it, but WOW. I changed the oil and filter, ran it about 700 miles, and got oil-based MUD out of it. It also burned about a quart every 300 miles when I got it, and was at 100 per quart when I junked it out. SMOKIN'!!!!!

'82 Chevy El Camino
Well, technically a GM caballero, but what's the difference?
5.0L 305 V-8 sport cam and flowmaster muffler
Iroc rims, z-rate tires, lowered (it rode 5" from the ground)
cab-high camper shell (everybody called it the hearse)
Bright Gloss White paint job, hella decent re-upholstered interior
2 1,000 watt amps, 20-range equalizer, 10-disc, 12 speakers
It weighed over 2-tons! With all the sound foam and particle board, each door weighed over 100 lbs. and with a 155 hp engine, it didn't really go anywhere, but still sucked gas doing it.
It ran though, WOOT!

First car (it dates me, yes, but it was OLD when I got it):
1964 Buick LeSabre Coupe, 400cu 4 barrel, broken springs in back, so I guess you could say it was lowered! Ran the **** out of it till the engine block cracked.
Since then:
1968 Chevelle
1974 Nova, then GM started making crap cars...
1983 Sentra
1982 Corolla SR-5 (wife's)
1989 Mitsubishi Mirage
1992 Corolla (wife's--still have it, only 87k, my daughter's getting it, lucky kid!)
1993 Subaru Impreza (the Plum color!)
1991 Honda Accord
1997 Honda Accord (wife's)
1996 Sentra and finally:
2003 ES--my favorite car since the LeSabre!

A 1982 Toyota Corolla five speed. Slow as molasses too! I had to share with my older brother, so gas was always an issue. Also, it sucked fighting over who got to use the car all of the time. In the end, the junk heap became mine, which I traded it for a POS 89 Grand Am (my 2nd car).
