I post a lot on another protege site and i was just wondering what do you think is cool about this site that i can't find on the other site. Basically, sell the site to me on this thread.

 

knowledagble people in terms of first-gens. I have neither a protege5, protege MP3, or mazdaspeed protege, if that's the site you're talking about. There were other proteges besides those first.

 

cool ppl.
hot chicks. (sometimes even catfights...rawr!)
post freedom (moderate swearing allowed)
smart ppl.
sir nuke's welcome note.
edwin's (TheMan) blunt and somewhat aggressive replies.
involved mods. (i post on a lot of other boards and rarely hear from them except to tell u to calm down)

basically, it's a free-wheeling board.
stay awhile and u'll see.

 

i dont think we need to sell the site to you, you either like it here or you dont. its a good group of people, with good knowledge of proteges.

 

You forgot to mention the plethora of available smilies...

 

Mazda Forums (aka the other forum) doesn't have the whack-it smiley. That should be reason enough for anyone!

Hey bagged...yep I am here too!!! and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

personally I find the ATMOSPHERE of the two clubs different and I like them both. I have only been a member of one about a month longer than the other. I am glad I am a member of both of them.....I have what I consider a lot of good friends in both places.

:{D the ONLY thing that sucks here is I don't have my own smiley face like I do over there....lol

 

I was kinda offened by this thread!! why should we "sell" this to you? I belong to both forums.. and personally i like this one better... they are different to me...The other one really isnt for my kind of protege. I love the people here. But i love the info i get back.. there are alot of smart people out there in this forum.. much thanks to Sir nuke and Bizob!!!

yea were like that friend that everyone has where you can go to his house laz around and still get stuff done plus you dont have to worry about anything except a little poop fling once in a while.

 

I like this one a little more because I know more of the people. Every time I visit the other board, all I see is whining about how much crappier the Neon is than the Protege and how the Mazdaspeed Protege is the best car that has ever been on the face of this planet.

It's a little more mature over here, for the most part.

I don't see why anyone would be offended by this post. I started coming to both sites at the same time but for some reason im on the other one 24/7 and i come here like once every couple months and don't come back. I just wanted to see how it was. I always wanted to be welcomed by Sir Nuke but i never got one on the other boards. I think this is enough reason to be part of this community. lol
