I can buy the glam label after looking at the male singer!

Oh yeah, I now have my WalMart "Ultimate Funk" CD in my car. Great for all us retros, "Brickhouse," "Superfreak," "Stomp," and other assorted good ones. This was replaced by Funk 1 and 2, which I bought for my kids. Have to pass along a good appreciation for music!

Yes, I'm reviving this thread with another new CD alert.

Actually, it came out at the end of 2003, I dont know how I missed this:

the Darkness--"Permission to Land"

For those of you who are unfamiliar: picture Freddie Mercury fronting an 80's hair band and shrieking half the lyrics in falsetto--just when you think they are ready to take off for Planet Weird, they come back to Earth.

F*ckin great sh*t...

The Game has been in steady rotation. As has Pittbull, Nas, System of a Down and random Eurotrash techno...woohoo!

...lately, it has been Social Distortion, the Suicide Machines, and Swinging Utters. And, WWJ News Radio 950 for "traffic on the eights".
