Interesting. So if u maintain the motor and drive it hard to clean the carbon out the motor will last lounger?

Yes. Believe it or not, a motor that isn't hurt by hard driving :D I forgot to mention one thing - you must be easy on the motor before it gets up to temp, then you can beat on it. Most people seem to not drive above 3k rpm while the engine is cold. Thats another way to shorten the life of a rotary - driving it hard while its cold. Its a no no for any engine, but can be deadly with a rotary.
BTW I mainted my 7's properly (oil changes religiously, etc) and was careful with it while it was cold. But once it did get up to temp, I beat the piss outta them and havent had a problem!
