I love the look of the Mazda6 and just read an article the other day on the Altima and they both look very promising and look like great cars. However, I would wait until ALL models that you are looking at come out onto the market so that you can test drive them. As others have said, if you only test drive a couple now then you will want one of those without waiting for the Mazda6 or others to come out.

I also think it depends on whether or not you want a manual or auto and if you want a car more like an Accord or a sportier look in the 6.
