what to buy, what to buy

i figure you'll get almost 2psi just out of the hardpipes...figure about 8whp for every psi and thats another 16whp. going with a larger FMIC and more tubing is a waste for those running stock boost.
the plastic piping swells under boost and that pressure is lost expanding the pipes not feeding the engine...now it'll have no choice but to go through the (now more efficient) intercooler and into the engine.
30whp is my guess at stock boost settings (not levels)

did you notice just how little of that SMIC is actually hit by outside air?? Not a great location for mounting it but butter than being a top mount IC like the WRX's and new MS6.
p.s. do some searching around the net for custom IC sprayers...I think most people just use their windshield washer nozzle and spray washing fluid on it. The alcohol in the washing fluid absorbs a lot of heat...a lot more than water.
