Maxx - yes, I do still plan on coming to MITM. I was hoping to have my 'new' headlights by then and be the most special P5 there, but it looks like it won't be happening until after. Oh, well such is life. As far as putting on the moves - are you a nice guy? Or are you one of the 'jerks'? ;) Oh, and if that is how you treat a girl (ie the yelling into the phone), be prepared to be speaking soprano for a few days. :D

MisterT, you must be looking in the wrong places. That, or you're just lucking out. Out of curiousity, when you are going on these dates, how long until you find out the girl is psycho, as you put it? And why can't it be an equal opportunity thing as far as paying, unless you specifically want to treat the girl? I mean, it is the 21st century - you pay for yours, I pay for mine. That, or whoever does the asking out should be the one to foot the bill.(Obviously, though, you'd have to be up front about something like this.) Just my two cents. But you still didn't answer my question - where can a nice girl meet a nice guy? It's like they only come out during a blue moon or something, and then they're still in stealth mode. :(

Holy crap! And I just asked if you were coming!

So what "new" headlights are you getting? I've got the '03 ones in mine because of my deer encounter (see here for details) but have you got others?

As for me being a nice guy, as my GIRLFRIEND of about a year and a half will tell you, I'm a perfect gentleman. Unless I'm called upon to be bad. :inthebum:

MaxxMazda is a bambi killer. LOL ;) That's great about the car. I saw pics in a previous post, but forgot to ask if it did any other damage like alignment, etc. Hopefully just cosmetic damage.

As far as where the nice guys are, I don't go looking for guys, but I am assuming that if you volunteer somewhere of interest, a lot of people meet that way and already have that one thing in common. Guys at work met their gfs at school (college). One guy who left told me he went to a club and met his present day wife. He laughed and said he was just going out with friends with no intentions to pick up some one (it wasn't his style to do so in a club), and that is when they met. The longest relationship that I was in, I met her at the beach where I worked. I met her through this girl I met that summer and became friends with. Come to find out the girl that introduced us liked me, but I had no idea because she was always so mean around me. I found out that the girl I liked was going to the same college as I was and got her number from the mean friend and asked her if she wanted to go to registration together (at the time you had to wait in liine for hours). We spent 3 hours at the college waiting to get signed up for classes which was a great opportunity to get to know each other. We had good conversation, there was some chemistry there, so we went out that night and ever since until the break up. It lasted 8 or 9 years  We even married, but after 4 years, it was more downs than ups and things didn't work so we got a noncontested divorce (as nice as it gets for a divorce). I haven't seen her since partly because some things happened that broke the trust and the fact that she moved pretty far away. The good thing was that we didn't have kids. We had dogs, which was hard though. I moved in to an aptmnt. that didn't allow dogs, so she took them. Both got out, and the same day, one gets hit by a car (probably MaxxMazda! just kidding), and so there is one. That was a shitty year for me, 3 relatives die, a friend, my dog, and my aunt ended up in the ICU for a month!
