So yeah, decided to play some basketball yesterday with some guys from work, now none of these guys are all that athletic, so i was showing off cuz i played bball all through high school and some in college, anyway, i go up for a rebound and come down hard on someones foot...POP...there goes my ankle...so yeah im gimping around on an ankle about the size of a softball, the only saving grace is that it was my left ankle and i could actually drive myself to the hospital since i drive an automatic (PS the protege barely fits my crutches without busting out a window...)

Eh...I know that popping sound. Ice, elevation & ibuprofen are your friends!

sorry to hear about it bro.... joint injuries suck something fierce. I had both of my knee's broken when I was 12. Now I have full blown arthritis in them at 27.

p.s. out of all the pain meds I was given when I had my jaw surgery Ibiprofen was the only thing that worked...800mgs 3 times a day.;

Sorry to hear about your injury. I play golf, so the worst I have to worry about usually is sunburn, lol.

pain is just weakness leaving the body.
A friend of mine had a cast on his clutch foot and still managed.
