Wow, you would think the mods/admin at protege5.com would learn by now that they can't do anything to keep me off their site. Ask them how effective their IP banning is.

ANYWAY....beside the point. I get a yahoo IM this morning from Cablemirc. The following is a very close paraphrase:

cablemirc (him) - do you go by "turbo Matty P"

Me - yup

me --- why? you a fan or not?

him -- yeah sorta. You're pretty funny sometimes.

me -- thanks, people either love me or hate me.

him -- you have a very british sense of humor....

me.-- yeah it's kinda dry, most people either laugh or wait around looking for the punchline.

him --- David

me-- are you that guy from clubprotege?

him -- no I'm cablemirc

End of conversation. Then I see this post....and Yes, I'm still on protege5.com. Have a good time trying to figure out who I am.

I love how polarized everyone's opinions of me are! It is very cut and dry. Most people either carry a "FREE MATTY" flag or talk about how horrible I am.

The best part is all of the people who meet me and think I'm a nice guy......because that's how I am. I only tend to **** people off when I'm confronted with staggering stupidity....

Thoughts?? I know we have a lot of protege5ers lurking on here...why dont you offer up your views here on this forum where things aren't so skewed against me and I'm actually allowed to talk.


p.s. Replica....that blower kit is ***. I promise you if you put an M62 blower NON-INTERCOOLED on your intake manifold you are either going to blow your motor after a few hard runs or you're not going to be able to run anything over 3-4psi....Eatons put out WAY too much heat to not be intercooled.

The haters however won't say anythign to my face...EVER. not once has anyone stepped up to me to say something neagtive about me...I can't imagine why?!?!

I don't care but I figured I had such an impact on that forum that they feel they have to continue to talk about me. I just wanted to give them a chance to speak to me directly.....but you see....no'one will.

don't worry man...we had the same issue on our local site...in fact a particular 'faction' decided to start their own site, claiming they'd "won the war" and "everyone on ***** was a moron" etc. well, they are all back now and that site has no posts.

go figure.

It's VERY MUCH a soap opera....how lame is that?? They can't drop it and move on. Sheesh, I'm going to be on that forum. It doesn't matter what they say. The only thing I really do on there anyway is chat with my friends and look for GB's of other products that people don't try to sell here.

nah, Katsmp3 is full of crap. She made some post talking about the "NUMEROUS and EXCESSIVE" warnings I received.....it was ONE PM asking me to "tone it down". We laughed about the "fuss" and she mentioned how she didn't even have a problem with me.

The best part of the whole thing is that I'm still buddy's with several of the older mods there....whenever I get on I always tell them my new name and it's not until one mod gets wind of who I am am I re-banned....it's a B.S. situation. I'm glad we have such a good crew here.

 

I'm glad we can still hang out, whether it's here or there.

That is pretty gay though. The guy, 1337 is his username, f-ing posted a link to a virus, but he whined his way out of getting banned, then changed his name because a bunch of us heckled him. I guess your big GIANT sin is that you aren't willing to brown-nose the mods and admins hard enough.

 

My sin was that I pointed the flaws of the admins and mods and made them look like stupid hypocrits. Also, once they banned me GhostP5 made a big deal about calling me a racist and he said "I don't care how many of you beg for him to come back it aint happening!"....wow, the mods don't care how many people on a forum like a member they're just going to ban someone who makes fun of a mods wifes mustache.......lame! If she's so sensative about her sideburns and moustache maybe she could wax it?? Oh well, not my problem!

 

p.s. Natey...I don't brown-nose ANYBODY!! I treat a mod like 7-Up, never have never will. I tell a mod/admin like this "Trick, You without me is like Hell Melvin without the Blue Notes...you NEVER go platimnum."
