I had a 400+ horsepower Mustang. It would thrash just about any Protege, modded or stock, ever made, in the 1/4 mile. As for the twisties, well.. the 3 1/2 inch wide front wheels should give you a clue how well it'd do. I just don't get why you hate American cars. Have you seen the new Cadillac XLR based on the Corvette chassis? That car is AMAZING.. And by the way, the Saleen S7 is also American. I love my Protege, don't get me wrong, but there are quite a few American cars out there that I wouldn't mind owning either.

 

I have never blasted on anyone on this forum, but that was the stupidest post I have ever seen in my life. Everyone makes a choice as to what they want to drive, and forums are set up so that the most passionate drivers of any certain type of vehicle can express their feelings and mods. And then you go an attack them on their own turf. I even saw one post where a person registered just to say how stupid you were. It was like a single KKK member going to Watts to talk crap at a Black Panther rally. What the hell did you think was going to happen?
