So I tried the starbucks 'double shot' thing....

Driving to work today I was about 80% asleep most of the way (I have a 70+ mile commute each way to work).. and after about 45 minutes of driving with music blaring and windows down i decided i needed something to keep me up. I had some no doze in the car and opted to wash one down with a starbucks doubleshot, their new energy drink I'd seen advertised on tv.

I stopped at a good ol' am pm and picked up a $2.00 4oz doubleshot and a 13.7oz $2.50 Frappuccino.

I downed only the double shot. That was 20 minutes ago.

I'm typing this from 3 miles above California, awaiting my freefall back to earth.

If Red Bull gives you wings, this **** gives you a JATO (jet assisted takeoff) device.

oh, and now im drinking the frappuccino.

Ouch!

Thanks for reminding me of the main reason why I recently gave up coffee (but not caffeine, love my carbonated beverages!)

when it comes to coffee shops i would rather goto a small one. not starbucks or the other big ones.

well, i downed my frappucinno and ate a donut on top of all that other ****, and now I feel like Ive been shot 40 times in the gut, and then been pumped full of pcp to keep me alive.

This is not going to be good.

Maybe your body is trying to prepare for things to come once you enter the office?

Oh jesus, that would throw a rod instantly. That **** is like rocket fuel.

Vin Diesel : "I need double shots, tonight, big ones"
White Ricer : "Are you sure thats safe, you could blow the head gasket and burn up to Motech exhaust!"
Vin Diesel : "GRR!"

That's what I love about this forum. Up to my *** reviewing a technical manual the customer wants right away so I can't pawn it off. I decide to take a break and look at the forum. Out of nowhere an off topic thread turns into a vicious *** comparison complete with graphic smiley face things doing stuff I never thought they could!

Keep it up all you're keeping me sane!!!
