I'm so smart I don't have to lower myself to such menial tests of my intelligence. Of course I did anyway!

Sadly it's things like this that will give people ammunition to justify their poor spelling skills. Always amazes me how even with spellcheck people don't get things right.

what is this spellcheck you speak of?

haha... my last job...3 spelling errors in 1 year = ferid

of course.. spellcheck automatically ran when you "saved" your work / print your work / close your work.. etc.

Biggest problem is incorrect word usage. Too many people don't know the difference between your and you're, their and there, etc. Or maybe they just don't care. Spellcheck won't catch that if you spell it right! I just shudder to think of what we will be reading in a couple of years, when the current crop of students is out in the real world.

haha... we had that problem two at my last job. they outsourced a lot of our work too india, and there employees "matched" copy, no proofreading at all.
