should i trust a travelling window tinter

what's your opinion on paying for tinting from someone that has a home based business? i found a guy that does tinting and he travels to your house and everything. only worries i have are if there's a problem with the tinting down the line, say cracking, peeling, or fading, the guys home is in milwaukee, wisconsin and i'm in chicago, illinois. it's only $100 for all around using johnsons film.

should i just go for it? and anyone have any comments on the quality of the film?

tinting

Do it yourself for 50 bucks. If it peels or cracks, you know where you live. If he does it and something goes wrong, what would you expect? A new tint job? Your money back? You'll get none of these.

Tinting is easy if you have a bit of patience, make sure your windows are perfectly clean, and use plenty of water.

Just a question...why not take it to a local detailer? If you trust the job to an out-of-state guy that you know nothing about, don't assume he'll do a good job.

thanks for all your input. i'm going with an in-state guy that actually owns a physical shop to drive my car in to. just got tempted by the cost and the convenience of having someone come to my house and do it for me.
