Thumbs up SE-R Wrecked.... Now somewhat repaired

Well as some of you may of heard I was in a "fender bender" with my 1993 Nissan Sentra SE-R. All because of a careless 15 year old driver, who was unexperienced and should not of been driving during a rushhour situation. As she pulled out swiftly in front of me as i entered a intersection, into the wrong lane at that. Anywho, makes me more believe that women tend to make some careless/stupid decisions in the most basic driving situations (i.e. turning into the wrong lane, rather than their lane in this situation)

Anyways, the car has been in the shop for 3-4 weeks (******* forever) getting fixed. Parts needing fixed were: Hood, passangers side fender, passangers side turnsignal light and headlight, grill, and front bumper and all supports. Not too complex of a fix... but i dont do this stuff for a living so im not gonna say anymore here. But because of stupid insurance companies (cough: Farmers) i got screwed into using remanufactured and used parts for everything. Meaning, yellowed headlight, wrong fender (from a 91), wrong bumper and some other things. Also fitment was fucked up because of those parts, leaving gaps where they shouldnt be, and some how they managed to leave the grill unpainted (black), and they put pits in my drivers side headlight (looks like its been halfway sandblasted). Huh, wtf have they been doing for 4 weeks.

On the plus side, The paint is quite good.... cant complain in that area other than i wish i could afford to do the whole car right now. Also the only reason i have the car currently is we are waiting on parts and my rental car. Yes, its going back to the shop, everything will be straightend out and fixed with brand new OEM parts! So we're waiting on those to come in and the car will go back to get fixed. Also my new tires will be mounted and my new springs and struts will go on. So The car is just currently in a transition faise for the most parts. Its just that i cant figure out how they fucked the car up so much with out noticing.... they even had my old 93 bumper there with the 91 bumper next to it, and didnt notice anything. And there is a BIG diffrence there.

So anyways, nough with the explanation, here are some pictures to compare, pre wreck pictures, and post repair pictures as of 10 min ago. I have no pictures from what the wreck looked like, sadly... but oh well.

Pre Wreck SE-R:

Post Repair:
Front End: Note the gaps, fucked up headlight and corner light, and placement, unpainted grill surround, and definately the wrong bumper!

Closer View of Passagners Side replacement headlight... definately used, and ugly..... not acceptable in my book

Closer view of drivers side headlight, this is still an original, was in perfect shape as i left the car with them, now it looks as if its been partially sand blasted.... dont know if the picture is high enough resolution to tell... but whatever.

then the bodyshop picked it up to re- repair it.... currently they say it may be done this week (yea bullshit)

Today i went in to pick some **** up out of my car, and i go in to find my interior taken apart (passangers side seat, and rear seat taken out) along with my door panel taken out, my clarion midwoofer, crossover and tweeter sitting on the ground... and the speakerwires clipped????? WTF??????

i didnt say anything in hopes i wouldnt have to worry.... but tomarrow im going back to see wtf is going on.

you need to get your car out of there. most likely they are already pissed cuz you didnt like the shitty job they did the first time. so now they have to repair it for free. most likely they are taking it out on your car. this whole thing is getting way to fucked up. just let me know if i need to come down to lincoln and do alittle *** kickin..

Now there's a car that's "outstanding in its field."
Glad you got it back & all is well.
