I'm out running some errands this morning. Sitting at a stoplight, a Geo Tracker (2 door) pulls up next to me. As my eye casually wanders over the car, I see attached to the front fender just below the hood, the ultimate in power adding accessories...a VTEC emblem! Gee, I didn't know GM had bought Honda!!!

 

Well, until recently GM hadn't. They bought Honda's V-6 and put it in their Saturn Vue Redline. Why Honda did this is beyond me (I know they got OnStar, but you know...). I don't know if this next fact is true, it might be, I heard from some one that said that the Honda V-6 gets better gas mileage than the GM 4 cylinder one available to be put in the Vue. Crazy stuff.

 

I thought tghey put the toyota V6 in the vue.

Strange move considering in the past Gm delt with toyota and Isuzu.
