Does anyone remember, and you all should, the few wrecks we have had on protege club one week?

Then I said i wonder who is next?..

well.....I got my answer....
Apperently I was...*gulp* next...


Yesterday I was on my way to school(STAY IN SCHOOL!!) and I came to this stop, the stop is like the corner of a square, only has on stop sign and the other doesnt...

As i came to my stop I see a large red ford F-something...and I can tell he has already cut WAAAY to sharp....

It was like slow motion as I watched the truck get closer and closer...then

BOOM!...

I sat and thought to my self..."well sh**"...
as I get out of the car only one word was rushing through my mind..

Insurance....

The guy got out and was like "im very sorry, i must have turned too sharp"
I sat and thought thats what they all say...

we then walk to the front of my vehicle to look at the damage..and he says "was that there before"

I am like...no....

then we look at his left rear tire and rim...and strangly...he has the same color paint as my car on there...


He told me he was going to give me his card, i was like card? im like...insurance...i dont wanna deal with them...

but it turns out he tells me that he works at Moss Motors (a ford dealer ship in the next town over). He is also the sales manager...
He told me to bring it down one day and he would have it "fixed"

the damage wasnt very bad at all...

just several gashes in the corner of the bumper and a couple on the lower half...and also hit my turn signal lense...( i was also glad that it didnt mess up the lights or the front neon)

there are black marks all over the place from where the tire hit....there are even tire marks on the lense..how he managed that i do not know...

HIs damage? some paint on his tire and rim....


Funny thing is...this happend at 7:30 in the morning....and I still got to school on time...hahaha

so yeah.....

if it makes you feel better, wind blew off my tail light

Sucks that it happened.
Don't let this guy take advantage of you because you are young...seriously, the guy works at a dealership...I would not be surprised that when you walk in there his wheel & tire are fixed and he denies everything.
(Then tries to sell you a car).
I just don't have a lot of faith in human nature. People RARELY 'do the right thing', unless it's to their advantage.

 

I took some pics on an incase I would need them...

I was looking at one and didnt notice untill today...that

the bumper is smooshed in a noticable bit on the left side....and it sounds like theres something grinding inside when you psuh on it...

from someone hitting and running from my car. broke a piece off my drivers tail light. then it got really windy recently, and the wind just blew it clean off. ran over it later

 

Sorry about all that...I really hope this guy comes through for you and you get your car fixed.

 

Me to b/c i couldnt take a report b/c it wasnt considered enough damage, then again if he dont pull thru, word spreads quick around here...plus He seems like a trust worthy person..

but then again...life is an oxymoron..
