Well, I joines this forum under five months ago and there were a little over 4000 members (active). Now there are almost 5000, an increase in 25% in that time.

When was this forum started. That seems like there are a lot of members that are getting involved in this forum. Thats good and there are many people who help out Mazda owners and other people.

My girlfriend hates it when I am on this site checking out things. Oh-well. She is pissed with me now over lots of stuff and we will see what will happen?

When I came in July of 2002 there were 3500 members. Crazy hey? Mazda did something right with 'our' cars! :D

I think that the forum was started around October of 2001. I joined the club sometime in November of that same year. Don't know how many members were there back then, but were far less than 5000.:D The bigger, the better. More people means more ideas and more help for the ones that need it........

lol I think it was Sept. 2001, thats when I bought my car and started looking for an aftermarket when I stumbled across this board. The orginal owner lives here in Columbus, he doesn't post here much anymore, jking I believe his name is on here. Now the owner is Jason who owns Advanced Imports, the button up at the top, another Columbus resident. Both REALLY cool guys.

I remember back in the day... ahhh those where the days... TheMan was less of a dick ;), probably cause the only thing available then was a CIA :p. Psuedo still had his 1st gen and was posting like a mad man. EricF, who unfortunatly haven't seen around in a LONG time, use to talk about ALL the internals of our cars. Ambient started the imfamous "3 word story" thread. RTFM was shouted on a regular baises ;). The thought of a turbo kit was just a dream. Aaaahhh the good ol'days. *Grabs Cane* SirNuke was just a young pup then, at least I thought he was ;).

The board has turned into something, that I can say, Im proud to be apart of. Lets here it for the Mods that keep this place running!!! I give you a Bubb Rubb "Woo Wooo!"

Edit: my car just turned 30,000 miles a few days ago. It was bought Sept 9th 2001, brand new. I was signing the loan papers as the first plane hit :(.

well there may be nearly 5000 members...but I would debate the ACTIVE part.

Heck when I started (Dec 01) The no one was giving the "official greeting" EricF was around a lot. I kinda wish I would have taken a moderator position as they were still looking for them but oh well.

I've heard desensitizing gel helps with that problem

Forum started on September 27th 2001. I am the 16th member. doesnt seam that long ago...;) I came from the forum before this one jeez i forgot the name of it now. but it was only around for a short time.
since then i have been laid off by two jobs, gone back to college for second degree, and moved from washington to iowa.

actually, now it says there are exactly 5000 members...
