I posted a thread about project cars the other day. Well my current project car is an 85 IROCZ and I'm thinking of moving on to either a B13 Sentra SE-R, Miata, BMW 84-91 E30 325, or S14 240sx. I was wondering what you all thought which car would best out of them all. The car will be for daily driver and Autoxing.

 

if you're going to autocross, go with the miata...if you don't mind feeling like a 40-year-old gay man, it's the best autocrosser you can buy without breaking the bank. if it were me, i'd go with the 240, but just because i'm partial to nissan. if only the insurance (and payments) on an SE-R were doable...

 

I agree with you on the Miata but in my area good luck finding a Miata cheap. One thing is theres tons of Miatas 1st and 1nd gens around. As for the BMW 325 I can get parts 10 over cost from work so I think that it would be smart to build a BMW. I really would like a 91-94 SE-R and theres a ton around at cheap money. As for the 240sx which are rare. I saw a nice black 98 yesterday at my Nissan Dealer and theres a Purple 240SX up the road from my house. You see why I'm have problems on deciding.

My 03 SE-R is 366.64 a month and ins is 148.18 amonth.

 

Do you think I can do both without making compromises? I want it be competitive and still be fun to drive.

 

I'd go for the miata... It's a great project car, and the aftermarket is insane! Probably AS good or better than any other car on the list.

 

I'm go with the s14 or s15. You can literally convert that car into a skyline if your pockets are right. Give it the full conversion. And yes I've seen it done before.
