Well boys, no more money is to be spent in the protege for a while, other than basic maintenence which I do anyway. I just bought a 1987 Mustang 5.0 LX hatchback, and it runs like a champ. It needs some body work and a little bit of tuning, but for $500 I won't complain. Now I know there has been a lot of talk lately of a lot of Mustang Haters, but you know what, I Got The Need....The Need for Speed! I will take pics when I can. Later.

yes, the nice boxy style. I would never buy a new mustang, but for $500, I could never pass this one up.

way to go...and you even got the LX which is like 300 pounds lighter than the GT...thus faster right out of the box.....

in case you never noticed...the highway patrols that first started using mustangs for high pursuit cars.....they were all LX models, and that was why.
