i saw a datsun 2000 for sale, they wanted 2000 for it. nice project car, but woulda been crazy drivin it from GA to NC

I had no idea they ever made an RX2. So did they also make an RX4, RX5, and RX6? how about and RX1?

I'm not sure, BUT, I think 2s and 3s only. Subsequent generations (after about '78 or '79?) of the rotaries had actual nameplates and also came in sedan versions.
The RX-7 was the first one to have the classic 'sport coupe' look.
I'm gonna have to look that up, though...
