The news ppl were going nuts after that movie came out b/c of all the car accidents there were. When we went to see it in the theatre I couldn't count how many nice/rice sports cars there were in the lot. And this was in a HUGE lot lol. I know my husband had to tamp down the urge to play with some of them at the stop lights himself. Really though there were A LOT of crashes b/c of that... ever notice the "disclaimer" at the beginning of the movie? lol

hehe yea, I live in a small town, and I didn't know we had that many modded cars, let alone ricers we had some idiot in a 96 V6 stang with dual straight exhaust revving his motor up in the parking lot after the movie He then came over and asked me if I wanted to lose.. that was when I had my 95 civic coupe with Supercharged B18c5 and since it was black and looked somewhat like the ones in the movie he wanted some, I told em I would run em at River City, he ended up meeting me there, I pulled an 11.5 in the 1/4 mile he pulled a 17.3 do the math

LoL Way to Go Travis! I really think it's so STUPID to have a mustang unless you've got a V8 under the hood... the bodies are so heavy, what's the point?? Anywho I've got my name on a 64 1/2 Stang.... now if Dad would just let me have it!....

This lady I go to school with was in my car the other day (I was taking her home) and we drove past a V6 stang, and she goes, "OMG! I want one of those!" I go, "its a v6.." she goes, "so? its a mustang!" unfortuneately this is how many people think..

I have respect for older v8 mustangs (before 1994) or newer svt and bullit stangs.

Yeah I saw a new Saleen stang in Raleigh over the weekend, it was mineral gray... not bad at all!! Wayyy too expensive though! Over $40k was what they wanted for it, and they got it too, b/c it wasn't there when we drove back. It was a convertible though, and I can't deal with that... We always upgrade the system in our cars and it's way too easy to slice open a top.

Don't worry Travis, when I get my hands on that baby it's going to love me!! I think I drooled on it the other day though when dad showed me the new exhaust he got

heheh I went to a car show a while back (domestic car show, what was I thinking?) anyways, so I pull up in my loud euro everybody is looking at me, I park..what did I park next to? A VERY clean 64 1/2 convertible..red..omg it was beautiful. There wasn't another there. all were 65+..64 1/2 is a rare find, and deserves a lot of respect

Dodge Charger 69 (the actual F&F charger is the only real car in the movie )
1967-69 Roadrunner/satellite/dart/superbee and everything with a hemi motor.
the superbee ran around 14 seconds stock on the 1/4 mile.
Talk about power and incredibly mean engine roars!!!!

Yep muscle cars are awesome! MP3Steve will be buying his '72 Chevelle back from his dad soon I think I'll be posting pictures of it asap... it's a beauty!!
