I am a Mobile Electronics Technician and have been for the last 12 years. I am now self-Employed, had an Alarm, Audio and Window tint shop for about 4 years, now i am solo and work mobile or at home (web based business)
in high school and college i did it all man....I wrote, directed, shot and edited films and video, (nope i stay behind the camera) Did still photography, spent many hours in the darkroom....I mixed and produced independent music bands, both live and in the studio. Doing sound was probably the most fun, especially live....i used to do 3 to 5 shows a week. I was a sponsored rider for skateboarding by Sharks Boardshop and did alot of BMX freestyle aswell. Did that for about 11 years, but only 4 or 5 sponsored. Kinda strange actually, soon as i moved to Cali, i stoppped skating as much and now my board sits under my bed collecting dust and my bike hangs from the garage rafters at my parents house.... I've built houses, worked for a general contractor for 3 years, Worked as a bike tech at a bike shop, a board tech at a skate shop...hehe Almost played professional soccer, aswell as pro hockey....snowboarding accident killed my knee
oh wow, i have soooooo rambled on....sorry for such a long post, i guess i had alot to say.........

SpeedWest, you impressed me, wow, didn't know you did that many things. If I get through half that many things by the time I'm 28 I'll be very happy.
So I take it you're still good at soccer even after messing up the knee? If I ever come down we gotta play, see what you got hehe

I made all kinds of stuff. Flip book animation, pixilation, claymation, stupid short movies and stuff like that. Later on, i did more meaningfull ****, like 30mins skits, commercials, a few how-to videos and 1 full length movie. Me and my buddies got on this horror film kick for a bit and made some funny *** short films....dude, i wish i had that stuff, you guys would bust a gut...
I actually have a script i wrote back in 91, all about street racing...if i ever have the time, motivation and equipment again, i'd like to film it....

Still good???? maybe, a bit slow though but i guess it's like a bike....but man it's been over 10 years, you'd probably run circles around me
I played for a national team and because of a ref with a vendeta against our team, we were robbed of the championship....we appealed, but it did no good, that ref had alot of ties with upper decision makers...bastards.

where have I been?!
lol, didn't check this topic at all...
I've been working for 2 years as a Customer Service Consultant (thats the name they give us) for Rogers AT&T Wireless.
I've been trying to get into their Network Support department, so I can get away from dealing with whiny customers. I mean come on people, ITS WIRELESS!! If you want guarenteed NO DROPPED calls, get a landline! shezzzz....
Pay is good, and so in benefits. I've remained part time (guarenteed 20 hours a week), but because we're always so busy, I can sign up for full time hours, and if I want, up to 3 hours OT per day (which is at double time, can't complain).
I've been working at my dad's CNC Machining shop he just opened close to home. I just kinda make my own hours there, and he pays me whenever, not a big deal (less stress than at Rogers).
I was taking flight school before I started at Rogers, but I was involved in 2 car accidents (both rear enders, not my fault, 2-1/2 weeks apart). Messed my back up pretty good, and I'm still fighting our crap insurance company here (only one, so their a damb monopoly). FINALLY meeting with them 2 years later (next friday) with my lawyer, hopefully they'll finally settle, and with the cash that I get, its going towards my flight school, a digital camcorder, and towards the Pro... =)

I work retail at Target and I am the manager of the Entertainment Department. That means one thing, I get to steal "The Fast and the Furious" on DVD a few weeks before it is released. I love my job... Oh yeah, I'm also going to school to become a Firefighter...

sunbyrne, yeah Vancouver is almost twice as expensive as Montreal is, I was very surprised when I moved too.
Smoothy- Yugoslavia and Netherlands didn't make the world cup, so there go my two favourites, but I strongly believe that Portugal or Argentina will win the next world cup.
redwagon- do you take stuff from there at all? I know that the safeway people steal so much, especially if they work in the back
