I got some new wheels for my RX-7. I'm gonna go pick 'em up from Rishie today. Enkei RPF1s, 17X8 and 17X9. w00t!

I wish I had some sweet rims for my rx7. I want something simple though...nothing bigger than 16"...nothing weighing over 15lbs each.

 

They're actually Rishie's wheels from his personal car(one of 'em anyway). Here they are on his GTUs.


heh, I got one of your bases covered. They're 17s, but they're light weight.

 

After searching, I found that they weigh 15.5 for the 8s and 15.9 for the 9's. Not too bad at all.

 

Nice car. I really really really want a 2nd gen RX-7.

 

Yeah, Rishie has a way with Mazdas, doesn't he? You oughtta see his widebody one. It'll have an LT1 in it soon.

For a while my friend wanted a 3rd gen RX-7 with an LS1 in it...

 

eh, maybe I'll wait until tomorrow for the wheels. Driving over the Santa Cruz mountains seems like it may not be such a good idea right now.


It's storming pretty hard!

 

Third gens look sweet but they are rather fragile things from what I've read.

And I do like the 2nd gen look. Matty is right, new paint and wheels and they look as contemporary as anything else out there now.

 

I've got big hopes for mine now but with current financial stress I may have to sell it. I hope I can hang onto it and make some extra side money to fix it up. I've got a lot of new parts for it and all it needs is some fresh paint, wheels/tires, and a new center console.
