New Maxima

I brough this up before, and sorry I bring it up again. I have seen 2 new Maxima SEs and they are nice. The one I walked up to was black with a brown interior. It is basically a replica 4 door 350Z. It has a pretty similar interior, dual double pipe exhaust and they same roofline that a 350z has. Not to mention a 255 hp engine. The only thing that turns me off is the headlights and grill, though if I had one those would be the first things to go. I live 20 min away from stillen (nissan tuners) and I will go check out their tuner car, soon to be finished and take some pictures.

I've seen an ion recently in person, looks a lot better in person, still don't like the C pillar though.

I do not think this new Maxima will be as popular as the previus one. For one, the exterior does leave something to be desired for, and I have seen a few, and its OK, but looks a lot like an enlarged Altima. I do not see however, it sharing any clues with the Z, except of the interior parts sharing. Secondly, this new Maxima is made in the good old US of A, and not in Japan. I think the vehicles that were shipped from Japan were very solid, and I am just afraid that the quality of the new car might not be the same. There, my 2 cents.

The new Maxima is butt-ugly. Enough said.
