Well it's time to update our playlists......

so go ahead, post some songs that you've discovered lately and that are on your playlist that others might like......

all genres

since I'm into hip-hop, here I go

Bone Thugs n Harmony- Change the World (U-Neek remix) <-- hard to find

John Forte feat Dinah Washington- What a difference
Wyclef Jean- PJ's
Ras Kass- Kiss U
Basement Jaxx- Do Your Thing (from that Levis commercial... great song)
Basement Jaxx- Bingo Bango
Nas- One Mic
Kardinal Offishall feat Glen Lewis- G Walkin
Kardinal Offishall- Huslin
Blackalicious- Make You feel that way
Cypress Hill- Child of the West (love the video too)
Gangstarr- Now Your Mine (great for b-ball)
Cam'ron- Oh Boy
K-OS- Heaven Only Knows

those are just some off the top of my head......

Hey, there--

I actually got to see Basement Jaxx here in Chicago last fall. I was probably the oldest person there, but I still had a great time.

I think my favorite tracks off the 'Rooty' album are "Romeo" (the first one), and "Where's Your Head At"....great for cranking in the car.

Yep hmm, my playlists have sure changed , although I have the problem where I can't just listen to one song off of a CD. I have to listen to the whole damn thing, so

TOOL- Aenima
ICP - Amazing Jeckel Brothers
ICP - Tunnel Of Love
Twizitid - Mirror Mirror
Mudvayne - L.D. 50
36 Crazyfists - Bitterness The Star

Those are the CD's chillin in my 6 disc player right now, and the funny thing is they've been there for a little over a week now. Oh well, its not that I;m lazy to change the discs, cause I got one of those fresh *** Eclipse in dash 6 disc changers, its just I keep listening to the same damn discs over, and over. I think I have issues....oh well.

bro, you don't have issues...... well when it comes to music anyways..... hehe j/k

I used to listen to this cd (Makaveli: the 7 day theory) every day at least twice for four years......

in any case....... I wish I could listen to a whole cd, but usually I just listen to 4-5 songs off a cd.......

I'm findin that I REALLY need to change the stereo in my P5...I've only had it about 3 weeks.....but it's HELLA annoying changing the cd's in that damn thing. "wait...wait...wait...."...GRRRRR.
I'm the type that usually jus listens to 4-5 songs on a cd too....it's rare that I find one that I can listen all the way through and thoroughly enjoy each song. ....But Makaveli....since you're into hip-hop.....hmmz...interesting....a yugoslavian canadian into hip-hop......anyways...i'm assuming your talkin about Pac....that I can listen to all the way through.
Right now I have one of his in....and Mary J Blige....and Bob Marley......and J-Lo...the remixes......and a U2(the newest one...and an older one).
Next????

I can't stop watching Roger Water's latest DVD concert - In the Flesh. I love Floyd music, and Roger still kicks ***. The concert though, is amazing, with surround sound and all. It funny too, I bought DVD when it came out, and it was cheaper then the 2cd set. But thats my music, and Metallica of course, S&M!

Very nice play list!

Here are a couple of bands I put on the last CD I burned:

The Cassandra Complex
Die Krupps
Front 242
Birmingham 6
Leather Strip
Christian Death
Razed in Black
Cubante
Rob Zombie

I'm also addicted to Industrial covers of non-industrial stuff:

100 Tears - Tribute to the Cure
Covered in Black - AC/DC Tribute
For The Masses - Depeche Mode Tribute
We Will Follow - U2 Tribute
NIN Covered in Nails
NIN Re-Covered in Nails

FLA and Tiffany doing New Years Day is a brilliant match up on a great song!

There ya go

Jay
