Get the 240 much better platform to mod. Much cheaper aswell because of popularity. I really like the proteges but with the same money you could make the 240 much faster.

LOL yeh.... it is afterall a purpose built sports car LOL unlike the protege...

if ya got any question on em just post it up... i did HEAPS of research into it as i was thinkin of getting one as soon as i got my licence... but parents gave me the protege when they got a new car hehehe so yeh!

if the car was imported from japan... then it would would out much better for u hehe no engine swap needed...

but!! remember them cars are very popular drift machines hehe might wanna check it out properly b4 buyin it... u seen how they push the **** outta them cars??? oh damnn the mountain passes absolute crazyness

i got ahold of the guy again...

the car also had that one somethin somethin 20 (or whatever) motor swap
and gears were grinding like hell (when clutch an **** worked)

i guess they swapped in the motor wrong huh?

well if its 20 it could be the SR20 or even the RB20.... both which r exerllent engines...

as for gears grindin me not have a clue hehe... i am sho other members may be able to help u out on that...

i got plenty of theories from my people at school. some say the motor mounts are done wrong or bent during the motor swap. the engine isn't balanced, the tranny is shot (no f'n duhh), and the clutch is messed up (again, no f'n duhh)
