I'm home!!!!!!

Finally made it! When I have some energy I'll post up about my travel adventures (I will say don't fly through Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris if you can help it), just got through cleaning out my laptop so it wouldn't shut down on overheat. Now I have to do some surfing and wait for everyone to wake up so I can start putting parts on the Speed. Mid-Ohio race on Saturday (hoping that's the day for the parade lap), then have to go shopping on the way home (my compromise with my gf). And the fun will continue...

I'll be up your way this weekend if you want to get those drinks we talked about.

The Porsche deal got pushed back to this weekend so I'll be heading back saturday morning around 9am.

I'll be leaving cincinnati about 9am or so. I also have a ATP 3" catless DP for sale I can give you a helluva deal on and even HAND DELIVER for free!

Even if you can't support my car fund I'd still like to get with you and maybe have a burger or a beer.

Sorry Matty, can't do it if it is Saturday morning. I'm leaving the house about 0600 to get up to Mid-Ohio. Guess you'll just have to buy another car up this way some time!!

I just dumped a bunch of money into the Speed so my funds are tapped out. Can't believe you haven't sold that DP yet, of course there aren't that many people on here who have them. You could join Mazda6 Club and sell it there, there are lots of people who are looking for good deals on stuff.

And to those who welcome me home, thanks. I'll get some pictures posted of the Speed once things settle down (I am changing the oil as I type this, nothing like multi-tasking!).

Oh trust me, I have been! Just got back from seeing "Transformers" with my kids and one of my gf's. Unfortunately I seem to have a boost leak from my TMIC install. At least that is what I think it is, at first I thought it was being able to hear more turbo noise from the reduction in flow restriction. But on the way home it got worse. Double-checked all my connections, the big hose on the BOV might have not had a good seal, the clamp looked like it could have been slightly off. I adjusted it, will go out later to check it out once I get the car washed/cleaned inside. Got a race to go to tomorrow!

Just got home from Mid-Ohio, because of circumstances I didn't get to watch any of the races (although I did hear the GT3 Porsche race) but it was great all the same. Lots of cool cars, my gf was under the weather so I took my middle son. He was beside himself at all the cool stuff to see (including two Ford GTs). If you guys have never taken the opportunity to go to a race, especially as part of an organized group, I urge you to. Meeting people with like interests is great.

The problem with my IC install turned out to be the inlet pipe. One bolt had backed completely out, the rest were loose. As it turned out two of the threaded holes are marginal, I got one to stay in with LocTite and put a through bolt in the other. Have to find some Helicoils to fix them proper-like. The car feels great with the improved IC, pulls much better up top with an increase in response. Now I just have to wait for my dual exhaust! Pics will come next week once I am back from my training (since I know someone will whine about TTIWWP).

Yeah, I'm Superman! Nah, I was just letting the pan drain so I had time to post. Even though I use a synthetic blend it takes some time for it to drain out of the pan (yes, I try to get every little drop out).

The last drops are the grossest.. at least that's how I justify it, you can't really tell it's all the deepest darkest of black.
