i hate this town....

went over what looked like a small bump in the road, 2 seconds later i hear the screaming crash of my last remaining neon tube getting destroyed. I miss the boring flats of S. FL now. Now i'm down to no mods for my car....dammit

you should be glad you don't live in the northeast. the roads here are far worse than anything you have in FL, believe me!! later, joe.

Did something fly up and hit your neon tube or did it actually contact the ground? Maybe you could mount it a little higher so it isn't the lowest point under the car. I would never have neon myself, but it does look pretty cool, especially with nice rims.

no it was a speed bump hidden by a puddle. i never even saw the damn thing and went over it at about 20mph. The suspension is soooo loose stock the car came crashing down. If the neons weren't there nothing prolly wouldve even hit the car.

i mounted them at the lowest possible point that would hold a 52" bulb. It only protruded about half an inch below the lowest point. The problem is the under side (at least of my car) is almost completely flat. Except for the area the exhaust travels i'm screwed. But i digress. i think any future mods will just have to be contained within the space of the car. Damn they looked soo friggin sweet too

Hey
First there are neon companys out there that will replace you r neon no matter what happened to it..

Second I would also recomend putting your neo on the upper side of your frame so then it will not get broken so easily

Just a tip for next time ....oh and sorry to hear bout your Shi**y roads!

Yeah but they will only unconditionally replace them for 1 year and i'm about 2 months past due.

See that's the problem, there is no frame to put them against. The "jack area" that extends up and down the car is half an inch shorter than the bulbs. And the rest of the underside is the same height so no matter where i put it the neons draw the same height.
