29, married (wife is 26), couple accidents/tickets between us, and insurance is almost $4000 a year for two cars (my Pro and her Jeep), $1000 deductibles.

Only guys from Jersey are allowed to bitch, because they are the only ones higher than NY. ;)

And $100 deductibles are a waste. Ask any honest insurance agent, and he will tell you - ALWAYS get the highest deductible. You'll NEVER see the benefits of a low deductible - you pay more for it; if you make claims, your rates go up, so you'll be hesitant to actually use it; and any decent body shop will work things out for you if you get in a real smash-banger. Guaranteed, if I get in a wreck, I won't be paying my $1000 deductible - the body shop makes it go away. So whatever extra you pay for that nice low deductible is like money thrown down the toilet.

Ahh dude!! that Sucks I only have a 323i and I looooooove it! That sucks she decided to sell it! Ohh man I would have been soo pissed but I'm sure you'll find another (hopefully). I must say these Bimmers are one helluva drive. I can't say enough about it. Well where there is one, there is bound to be another. And my insurance isn't so bad. I'm paying $2300 a year. I was paying 1500 every 6 months for the 03 protege I had. It pays off to have a used car, no matter what it is :-) I'll gladly take my $800 a year to spend on my '00 323i. It works out better
