Las Vegas bound

Picture this... me and 2 of my best buds on our motorcycles...(Kaw Ninja 600, Honda 750 VFR and Kawi 1000 Concourse) and we're on summer holidays screaming across the Nevada desert...
comfortably doing about 150 - 160 kph. Its a moonlit night and the road is straight as an arrow. Brad on the VFR is on my right, staggered in front of me.... Peter is putting along about half a mile back. When suddenly I hear a "whack!". I pull up to Brad..signalling with hand cupped to the helmet and he gives me a shoulder shrug.

about thirty seconds later...I notice Pete's highbeams flashing off and on. We slow down and let him catch up. He motions to us to pull over and when he takes off his helmet he's laughing hysterially.

He couldn't get over what he saw... the biggest rabbit (jack) spinning its guts all over the highway.

Apparently..the jackrabbit ran right into Brad right caliper and was cut in half and ended up a bloody mess for Pete to drive thru. When we stopped and had a better look..Brad's white rims were covered in blood and his lower fairing was cracked slightly.

Sad but true... that was one unlucky bunny!

(another side note: if driving from Calgary thru Radium...watch for the reflective eyes in the ditches at night...especially near Sinclair Canyon near the springs...yep..they are deer. And they can do alot of damage! Careful near Fernie too...I've had my share of near misses with elk and moose, they'll kill ya if you hit 'em whatever ya drive - well maybe not if you drive a Mack truck, but then you wouldn't be in the club then would you?)

And that all the wildlife hints your getting from me today!

- Remember: keep the shiny side up, the rubber side down -

I have seen other stupid ****............like they would put a small cat in a metal garbage can (that's what we had in my city) and they would light the thing on fire and close it so the cat burns with all the garbage............

you know how cats always land on their feet and ****.......and they could land from pretty high places with no damage.......
well.......those kids started throwing a small cat from the first floor,
nothing (no damage), then second, third, forth........and when they got to about 7th or 8th floor the car would break something
and die.............

I have also seen a cat fall from the 13th floor and nothing happened to it......no one threw it........it just slipped or some ****
it was a big cat though ...........but 13th floor is pretty high up....

well there.............I hope i've ruined your day with all those sick stories

identity, are you sure it was not you ....you sure did witness these guys doing alot......are you a cat lover ....lol

Its werid this post comes up. A bird flew into my windsheild today while going 70mph down the highway on my way to school, it didn't crack the window just made a loud BAMMM. I didn't even see it in the rearview mirror cuz it was raining.

I also have hit birds with my other car when they fly up and you hit them with the front bumper, all you see is feathers!!!

Road kill Stories

This post started as a very humane story about a kitten long ago, but now its twisted beyond recognition into a series of sadistic and bloody stories..... ohh well here goes some of mine

Road kills Score:

1 Dog
1 Cat
2 Birds (one of those was a REALLY juicy dove)
1002 Bees (aprox)
Few Snakes
and thats all i can remember.

The cat, wasnt actually a roadkill, but was really gruesome, I started the engine and heard a tudding sound under the hood, fearing the worst i turned off the engine and ewww... a cat got caught i dont know exactly where... but you get the picture, nothing that a hose and lot of patience didnt fix.

now the bees... try runnig into a bee cluster, with your windows rolled down... not a very funny situation, i only got stung a couple of times... but that was an experience i wont forget very easy, like if some one poured honey onto the windshield, no visibility
whatsoever, plus you know... freaking bees flying inside your car going at least 120km/h not so funny

The others were pretty straight forward, criter V.S. Car... car won... hehehe
